Keep in mind I'm still bloated on top of the 35 pounds I gained during all my treatments and depression, along with the improvement of hair growth in fun places. Just what every girl needs more of to feel awesome.
It turns out that my body panics with these increased levels of hormones. Both my acupuncturist and doctor were convinced the rash on my arms and legs is from the hormone levels. But never appears on my trunk. It doesn't itch, but burns when hot water or lotion are applied. And, yes, every skin care product I have is for sensitive skin and that's for my pre-pregnancy skin.
About 2 weeks ago we had our neighborhood end of summer block party. The manfriend could not keep himself from telling everyone our news. :) It was pretty damn cute.
We got our Verify (blood chromosome test) results back, and just like we suspected, all is perfect. And of course they got the sex results even though we checked the box that said to not check for the sex. So, yet, another talk with a doctor/nurse who didn't spill the beans.
Last but not least, we FINALLY got to celebrate our anniversary. Every year we go to a small little mountian town in southwest Colorado. There's a lot of hiking, sight seeing, good beer and food, and of course hot springs.
This year was different because the manfriend surprised me by taking me to the beautiful historic Victorian hotel in town, which has a spa. He even got us the romance package for the weekend. I was spoiled rotten. Chocolates, champagne, roses, spa treatments complete with a couples massage. His first! He was nervous, but loved it and was complete mush afterwards. :)
I cannot wait for this baby to join this family and experience the love that his/her father showers the people he loves with!
